Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses. The SBA recognizes that small business is critical to the country's economic recovery and strength, to building America's future, and to helping the United States compete in today's global marketplace. SBA provides assistance primarily by connecting business owners with access to fundraising, development, government contracting, and advocacy opportunities. Its bottom line is to help Americans start, build, and grow businesses. It also provides low-interest, long-term loans as financial assistance to homeowners, renters, and businesses for the repair and rebuilding of non-farm, private sector disaster losses. In addition to offering programs and veterans' services in the i-lab, SBA supports the work of CWE, MSBDC, and SCORE Boston.
